“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” ~ from Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! Mr. Shakespeare may have a point, but I must say there is no better last name than “Love” on Valentine’s Day! (Perhaps I’m a little biased, though. Ha!)
My family and I have made some awesome memories on this special day. One of my favourites happened in 2009. WestJet did a promotion if your last name was Valentine, Love, Rose, Sweet or Heart (and Hart). You could fly anywhere in Canada for $14 on February 14. My oldest, Spencer, and I had the best date! We flew to Vancouver for breakfast, lunch and some shopping, and then flew home just in time for dinner with friends. It was wonderful!
Have an amazing day with your loved ones. The Beatles had it all figured out—All You Need is Love!
